Lavender Lemon Grogtail
Eternal Grog - A refreshing Lavender Grogtail that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Just like the wispy Eternal Guard, this grog is light, airy and oh so purplely.

Prepare several hours in advance of enjoying.

Ingredients:

  • 8 Butterfly Pea Flowers

  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 cups coconut water

Blue Coconut Water:

  • Add five Butterfly Pea Flowers to a heatproof glass or ceramic container.

  • Pour two cups of coconut water (with or without coconut pulp) into a small saucepan, bring to a light simmer, and immediately take off heat.

  • Pour over flowers in the glass container and let steep until cool.

Lavender Syrup:

  • In the same small saucepan, add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water.

  • Bring to a light boil over low heat, stirring until all sugar is dissolved. Continue cooking for three minutes.

  • Remove from heat and add one tablespoon of dried lavender leaves and the rest of the butterfly pea flowers.

  • Stir and let sit until cooled.

  • Once each is cooled completely, use a strainer and strain individually into separate resealable containers. Refrigerate.
