BIXBY'S FISHING CHARTERS EVENTS

Set sail for bragging rights, big catches, and pirate glory at Bixby’s Hook N’ Cook Fishing Tournament, taking place Saturday, November 28, 2026, in Custom Seas in Sea of Thieves. This special angling showdown invites five teams of two to test their fishing skills, teamwork, cooking instincts, and high-seas strategy in a fast-paced competition where every cast could be the one that changes the leaderboard.

Each crew will be placed at a starting point laid out by the Gato Wheel of Luck with one goal in mind: hook the most fish on the list, cook it to perfection, and prove they have what it takes to become the tournament’s top anglers.

Crews will need to work together to locate prime fishing spots, manage bait and supplies, cook catches properly, and return with a haul worthy of the Hook N’ Cook name. Expect a lively mix of patience, quick decision-making, and pirate mischief as teams compete to outfish and outcook the rest of the fleet.

At the end of the event, all crews will earn 550 Ancient Coins, while the winning team will claim the grand prize: $50 per angler and a tournament trophy to commemorate their victory. More than just a fishing contest, Bixby’s Hook N’ Cook is a chance to gather your crewmate, sharpen your hooks, fire up the galley, and make a memorable run at Sea of Thieves fishing fame.

RULES

2 Crew Team
Catch all the fish on the target list within the time allowed, fish list becomes available at start.
Crews will be placed in strategic locations every 60 minutes and must use this time wisely. Crews will be moved regardless of activity.
Crews can engage in PVP after the 30 minute mark, weapons are cutlass and grappler gun.
PVP is not allowed for the first 5 minutes after relocation.
Fish must be cooked to perfection.
Crews will start with 50 of each bait in their food barrels, if more is needed, must acquire the old fashioned way...bring a shovel.
All fish must be turned into Hunters Call Sea Posts Only
Crews will have two storage crates for fish transfer.
Crews can take another crew's Meg if in vicinity.
All fish must be sold by the end of the four hours
Crew who has the most silver at the end of the 4 hours wins!

SCORING

Points will be as follows: 0 for RAW or BURNT, 50 for half cooked, and varied other values for cooked to perfection.
Meg Kills: 1000
Meg Meat: 250
Anything other than the fish on the target list will have minimal values or no value at all. All fish will be on the scoreboard.
PVP will be active after the first 30 minutes, points for crew engagement may not be favorable, attack wisely
Scoring will be continuous, strategize as you need to

CHAT ENGAGEMENT

Twitch Chat will be able to do the following based on polls:

Three polls will pop up during the competition that will allow the chat the ability to select a crew to punish or reward by spinning the wheel of MEGS or RELOCATION, at which point, either a MEG spawned on a target crew or they will be relocated to one of the closest islands over from their current location.

There will be no polls for the first hour of the competition.
