When it comes to giving back to the community or the world at large, a Gato’s generosity is hard to beat
For over five years, the Gato Pub community has actively raised funds for various charities through streaming events, stream teams, and impromptu initiatives when the need is urgent. We take pride in our daily philanthropic efforts and are especially honored to assist diverse communities worthy of support. The "Pirates Four Paws" event, which I initiated, focuses on sailing in the Sea of Thieves to aid animal charities such as the Maui Humane Society and Best Friends. Additionally, Gato Pub participates in the Fallout For Hope stream team to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Our contributions have extended to Gamers Outreach, the Alzheimer's Association, and Special Effect through Gameblast, among others.

Our philanthropic commitment encompasses three major charity periods. In June, we dedicate a weekend to "Keeping the Seas Salty," supporting Oceana.org. During the first week of September, we launch "Pirates Four Paws," benefiting BestFriends.org - Save them All. In December, we conclude the year with the Fallout For Hope Stream Team, raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

KEEPING THE SEAS SALTY
Every June, the Gato community comes together for an impactful weekend dedicated to "Keeping the Seas Salty," a streaming event designed to raise funds and awareness for Oceana.org. This initiative not only highlights the importance of protecting our oceans but also reflects the Gato's unwavering commitment to philanthropy.

Oceana is a leading international organization focused exclusively on ocean conservation. Through science-based advocacy and policy efforts, Oceana works to restore and protect marine ecosystems, combat overfishing, reduce plastic pollution, and preserve biodiversity. Their mission is vital for the health of our planet, as oceans play a critical role in regulating climate, supporting marine life, and sustaining communities worldwide.
PIRATES FOUR PAWS
At the start of September, the Gato Pirating Crew take to the seas for a week of seafaring shenanigans during "Pirates Four Paws," a streaming event aimed at raising funds and awareness for BestFriends.org. Our event emphasizes our passion for animal welfare and demonstrates the Gato's dedication to our four pawed crewmates.

FALLOUT FOR HOPE
During the month of December, the Fallout For Hope event transforms our beloved Fallout universe into a platform for change. Through creative in-game activities, streaming events and a community like no other, we demonstrate the power of gaming to make a profound difference in the lives of children and families in need.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is at the forefront of treating and curing childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Through innovative research and compassionate care, St. Jude ensures that families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food—allowing them to focus entirely on their child’s recovery.
