The Enchanted Merfruitrita

Merfruit are the tools of the sneaky pirate, the scallywag who yearns to tuck and score the riches earned by others. Well there might be a better way to use this mischievous fruit, one that is for the betterment of one, maybe two, maybe three pirates or more. In the wider world I think it's best used in a cocktail!

Meet the Enchanted Merfruitrita

Directions

Start with one cup of cooked merfruit (aka frozen Red Dragonfruit), add it along with half a cup of ice to a blender. Add two ounces of good tequila reposado (recommended tequilas), one ounce of blood orange liqueur, one ounce of fresh lime juice, and half an ounce of agave syrup. Blend. While blending, take the used lime wedge and moisten the rim of a glass, dip the rim into black salt and set aside. Pour frozen drink into glass and finish with sliced merfruit wedge. (NOTE: You will disappear if you sneak off into another room while drinking)
